I am not a skiier, but I love to travel to the slopes to enjoy the swirling ski passages on the slopes, and converse with the happiest people in the world. It never fails that I meet someone that happens to know someone that I know, no matter how far away from home I am! |

The Slopes from the Yampa River, Steamboat Springs Size: 12" x 16" This is painted on a watercolor canvas panel. It rests nicely on a table easel, or can be framed to hang. There is no need for glass in the frame, as it is protected by an acrylic varnish |

View from Amethyst Drive, Steamboat Springs Size: 16" x 20" This is also painted on a watercolor canvas panel and can be placed on an easel or framed and hung. |

Strawberry Park Hot Springs Size: 12" x 16" What an experience to sit in hot springs when the outside temperature is in the teens! This waterfall comes from a pool that is 107ºF, and the pool beneath is a more comfortable 101ºF. The painting seems hazy as there was steam rising from the warm water into the very cold winter air. I shall not share with you the photos of me in a bathing suit! |

The Yampa River Size: 12" x 16" This river runs along the length of Steamboat Springs just one block west of the main street. There are restaurants, walkways, art galleries and other points of interest here.

Steamboat Cliffs Size: 12" x 16" As I walked the path to the frozen waterfall (can't remember the name of it right now!) the sunlight was glistening on the snow and the trees created very dramatic dancing shadows. These types of scenes catch an artist's eye. |

Steamboat Skiiers Size 9" x 12" This is a view from the gondola that takes the skiiers to the lodge at the first landing.....but not the top of the mountain. As a non-skiier, I rode up and I rode down! (Another meaning of "uploading" and "downloading".
